Henrys Carpet Skip Biog
Henrys Carpet Skip is a four-piece rock band originally based in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. Formed in 2005, the band was heavily indie orientated and wrote a vast number of songs and played a large volume of shows, forming their solid fanbase.

In late 2007, HCS bassist and drummer left the band, ending Henrys Carpet Skip as it was known, indefinitely.

Gaz and Ben were eager to carry on writing and playing music and formed the band Death by Lilo; an acoustic duo consisting of two guitars and one microphone, maintaining Henrys Carpet Skip's fanbase, and encouraging new faces to enjoy their artwork.

In April of 2008, however, Ross got in touch with Ben and the two arranged a jam. Gaz, Ben and Ross seemed to fuse together perfectly. Ross' more metallic influence allowed the band to play heavier and the band were soon on the look out for a bassist.

It wasn't long before Andy was found and roped into playing a show that Death by Lilo had been booked for at West Street Live; a UK number 1's covers show. The gig went brilliantly and the quartet decided they wanted to continue playing together and so Henrys Carpet Skip was solidly back.
